Brixton Heights produced a 21-point fourth quarter to overturn a late deficit and beat Camden Kestrels 91–84 at Lambeth Arena on Friday, delivering a memorable night in front of the largest crowd ever seen at a regular-season game in the London Basketball League.

A reported 2,100 supporters filled every seat, with several hundred more watching from the concourse as guard Terrell Boateng finished with a game-high 27 points and eight assists.

Fourth-quarter surge

The Kestrels led 68–63 heading into the final period, powered by centre Lukas Brandt’s dominant work inside. But Heights head coach Amara Osei switched to a pressing defence that forced five turnovers in four minutes and flipped the game.

Boateng hit back-to-back threes to give the hosts the lead for good, and rookie forward Femi Adeyemi sealed it with a thunderous dunk with 40 seconds left that brought the arena to its feet.

“I’ve been here six years and I’ve never heard this place like that. People came because they wanted to be part of something. We gave them a night.”Terrell Boateng, Brixton Heights guard

The club says it is exploring a move to a larger venue next season, with discussions under way with Lambeth Council.
